In the NewsK-12 Regional Coordinator Named
date posted: July 8 2002
Jill Sarick was recently named Adopt-a-Watershed Regional Coordinator for the K-12 watershed education program in the Tahoe/Truckee watersheds. Jill will work with Adopt-a-Watershed under a Proposition 13 grant to oversee the planning, implementation, and administration of its environment-based education programs in the Tahoe Basin. She plans to foster relationships with all the school districts in the Basin. Her goal is to enhance and evaluate the success of K-12 environmental education at Lake Tahoe. In addition, we are excited to name Ms. Sarick leader of LTEEC’s K-12 Watershed Education subgroup. Congratulations Jill!
