Annual Meeting of the Lake Tahoe Environmental Education Coalition
Location: DW Reynolds Community Center, 948 Incline Way, Incline Village, NV
YOU ARE INVITED! Dear LTEEC Members and Interested Members of the Community: You are cordially invited to the Fourth Annual Meeting of the Lake Tahoe Environmental Education Coalition (LTEEC) on Friday, August 15. Join other individuals with a passion for protecting the Lake Tahoe environment to discuss the issue of how we can work together to educate the public. Charles Goldman, Ph.D., winner of the Nevada Medal and pioneer Tahoe researcher will present “Lake Tahoe: Moving Beyond the Environmental Conflicts to Solutions.”

This address will be followed by a facilitated discussion about how to educate and motivate all sectors of the public to become a part of a unified community effort of citizens and agencies to save Lake Tahoe (see attached agenda for details). Panel members will include representatives of the Lahontan Regional Water Quality Control Board, League to Save Lake Tahoe, North Lake Tahoe Resort Association, Tahoe Area Sierra Club, Tahoe Regional Planning Agency, University of California, Davis and US Forest Service.

The final hour of the evening will be time for socializing and networking with other LTEEC partners. Participants will be treated to food and refreshments donated by LTEEC supporters. We appreciate the generosity of the following donors: Project MANA, Tahoe Area Sierra Club, Tahoe Brewing Company, Tahoe Rim Trail, and IVGID WasteNot.

Please join us for this thought-provoking and enjoyable evening. Please RSVP (775) 832-4138 or (775) 832-4150. We hope to see you on August 15.
