October 2 2003 - October 4 2003
CalEPPC Symposium 2003
Location: North Tahoe Conference Center, Kings Beach, CA
"Planning Weed Management for Ecosystem Recovery" on October 2-4, 2003, at the North Tahoe Conference Center, Kings Beach, CA. Held every year since 1992, the Cal-EPPC Symposium is the place to hear the latest invasive plant information and to meet others working on wildland weed management. This year's Symposium, organized in collaboration with colleagues from Nevada, focuses on weed management within the restoration context, with sessions on setting priorities, working with ecosystem processes in recovery, on-the-ground techniques, and monitoring to evaluate recovery progress. In addition, there will be a session on DPR Laws & Regulations, topic-specific Working Groups, concurrent sessions of contributed papers, posters and exhibits, and optional half- and full-day field trips in the area. The conference center fronts a beautiful beach at the north end of the lake. Bring your family and spend the weekend after the conference in the gorgeous Tahoe Basin. Registration materials and the draft program agenda are available on the CalEPPC website. We look forward to seeing you in Tahoe in October!
