Sierra Nevada Alliance Tenth Annual Conference
Location: Ebbetts Pass Community Center/Independence Hall, Arnold, CA
Loving the Sierra - Inspiration for the Decades Ahead: In 1993, the Sierra Nevada Alliance was formed out of a love for the Sierra and recognition that there were fragmented efforts to protect the mountain range. In this amazing decade of work the Alliance and member groups throughout the region and state have focused on a wide range of Sierra issues including timber, wilderness, sustainable communities, open space, habitat protection, and water quality. This conference will celebrate ten years of accomplishments, share ways to turn residents and visitors love of the Sierra into winning strategies, and discuss what hasn't happened and what needs to happen in the next ten years to protect and restore all the qualities we love about the Range of Light. Join us for two days of workshops, field trips, inspirational speakers and fun!
